​​CALL FOR PROPOSALS — LULA GLOBAL LATE NIGHT FRIDAYS

Attention local and touring promoters, artists, party curators, bands, DJ collectives and other music organizations, Lula Music and Arts at Lula Lounge wants to hear from you! 

​

We’re inviting proposals for our Global Late Night Fridays series, a high-energy, dance-friendly late-night platform, open to a wide range of sounds and scenes — including (but not limited to) Brazilian, Latin, Caribbean, global fusion, funk, Afro-diasporic, electronic, and other rhythm-driven music that brings people to the dance floor.

THE FRIDAY LATE NIGHT FORMAT

​

• Fridays, late night

• Doors at 11PM

• Your audience arrives as Lula’s long-running Friday Latin night wraps up a dynamic set of world-class live salsa, merengue, timba, and/or cumbia. (10:00 pm  to 11:20pm).

• While your event kicks off with a warm and welcoming atmosphere (populated with music lovers already enjoying the night) our early audience generally starts to thin out as the salsa ends, gradually replaced by your arrivals.

• Location at 1585 Dundas West on 505 Streetcar line

• Accessible entrance and universal washroom on ground floor, ramp for one step to dance floor

• Possibility of Lula team applying to AGCO for a late last call at the bar for culturally rich programming
