Street Brass at Dundas West Fest
Be a part of brass history in the making on June 3, 2017 at 1pm when horn players of all types, levels, ages and musical backgrounds join Toronto’s Street Brass to perform as part of the 2017 Lulaworld Festival and Dundas West Fest.
Led by trombonist Christopher Butcher (of the Heavyweights Brass Band), Street Brass community ensemble meets monthly to learn and play horn-based music from across the Americas. For more info visit StreetBrass.com.
For this special performance at Dundas West Fest, Street Brass is inviting horn players from everywhere to join in on four songs. Just learn your part online from the videos below, then attend a rehearsal:

Those who live in the GTA area are encouraged to attend the regular Street Brass rehearsals that take place the second Saturday of every month at Lounge Lounge. (1585 Dundas Street West)

When your performance on June 3 is done you can relax and enjoy a full day of music, food, drinks and family fun at Dundas West Fest. The Lulaworld stage, just west of Brock will continue to highlight brass all afternoon and evening with a lineup that includes music from Brazil, Cuba, Jamaica and Mexico. Full line up coming soon!
